Sirens Big Band is an 17-piece super-collective that formed in late 2009 when the band’s leaders, bassist Jessica Dunn and saxophonist Harrison Harding were awarded the Jann Rutherford Memorial Award, which assists in the professional development of young female jazz musicians. The ensemble brings together some of Australia’s strongest and most innovative musicians and improvisers.
